May & June, 2011

This Monthly Calendar is intended to share with my friends some of my various activities and to ask for their prayers. It is also a substitute for personalized letters when the time is too short to write as I would like to.

Holy Pascha- Easter Sunday, April 24. The Feast of the Glorious Resurrection of Christ is celebrated this year 2011, on the same day together with the Orthodox Churches, setting the path hopefully and prayerfully for our future UNITY in accord with the prayer of our Lord on the Last Supper, “That All May Be One.”

CHRIST IS RISEN ! - HE IS TRULY RISEN !
Al Masiix Qaam! HaQQan Qaam!
Christos Anesti! Alithos Anesti!
Hristos voskrese! Voistino voskrese!
Cristo ha resucitado! Verdaderamente ha resucitado
Le Christ est réssuscité! vraiment réessuscité!

The Paschal celebration continues daily until the Feast of the Ascension of Our Lord to Heaven (June 2, this year) Then it will continue every Sunday of the year. The resurrection of Christ is a central or rather THE central object of our preaching and belief. That belief and preaching should show in our life with Joy. We are the people of the Resurrection.

GOD IS LOVE

“God is love, and whoever remains in love remains in God and God in him.”
(I John 4:16)
Every time a hand reaches out to help another
that is LOVE
Every time someone puts anger aside and
strives for understanding
that is LOVE
Every time people forget their differences and
realIze their love for each other
that is LOVE
MAY YOU GIVE LOVE and RECEIVE LOVE
TODAY and ALWAYS
