This Monthly Calendar is intended to share with my friends some of my various activities and to ask for their prayers. It is also a substitute for personalized letters when the time is too short to write as I would like to.
Palm Sunday, April 1 – Triumphal Entrance of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ into Jerusalem.
9:30 AM – Orthros Service in the Seminary Chapel.
10:00 AM – Divine Liturgy followed by the Triumphal Procession with palms inside the Seminary Chapel.
7:00 PM – Service of the Bridegroom at St. Joeph Church in Lawrence.

11:00 AM – Liturgy of the PreSanctified at the Seminary Chapel.
7:00 PM – Service of the Bridegroom at St. Joseph Church
Wednesday, 11:00 AM – Lit. of the PreSanctified at the Seminary.
Holy Thursday – 9:00 AM – Blessing of the Oil at the Seminary.
10:30 AM – Divine Liturgy of the Institution of the Eucharist at the Seminary.
7:00 PM – Service of the Crucifiction at St. Joseph.
Good Friday – 12:00 noon – The Descent from the Cross, at St.
Joseph Church
7:00 PM – Funeral Service of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, at St. Joseph.
Great and Holy Saturday, 10:30 AM – The Blessing of the Light, followed by the Vesper Divine Liturgy of St. Basil, at the Seminary Chapel.
Holy Pascha- Easter Sunday, April 8 . The Feast of the Glorious Resurrection of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Saturday (April 7) 11:30 PM – At St Basil Seminary, the Hajmi (Rush Service) and the Divine Liturgy of Pascha (the Glorious Resurrection)

Monday, April 16, 7:00 PM – Annual Patriots Day Dinner sponsored by the Massachusetts State Council Knights of Columbus, at the Sheraton Framingham Hotel. Pre-Lantern Award Reception precedes at 5:30 PM. Recipient of this year’s Award is Chaplain Father William Devine, USN (Ret)
Saturday, April 21, 7:00 PM – Bestowing on the Right Reverend Chorbishop Joseph Lahoud the Medal of the National Order of the Cedar by His Excellency Michel Sleiman, the President of Lebanon, at Lombardo’s in Randolph. The decoration will be presented by the Honorable Antoine Chedid, Lebanese Ambassador to the United States, along with the Consul of Lebanon in New England the Honorable Ibrahim Hanna. {{I excused myself on the last hour, because of a bad cough, besides the OsteoArthritis which I habeen suffering since December, 2011}}
Wednesday, April 25, 6:00 PM – A Reverse Raffle Dinner (Fund Raiser) at the Salvatorian Center.

Thursday, May 31 (Tentative Date) - Travel to Lebanon for the Annual Synod of the Melkite Bishops, a vacation in Maghdoucheh, my hometown in South Lebanon, and in my Alma Mater, the Holy Savior Monastery in the Chouf Region.

Monday-Saturday, June 18-23 – Annual Synod of the Bishops of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church at the Patriarchal Summer Residence in Ain-Traz, Lebanon.
Tuesday, June 26 – Return to the United States.
Thursday-Sunday, July 5-9 – The 48th Melkite Convention sponsored by Our Lady of Redemption Church, Warren, MI, At the Hyatt Regency, Dearborn.
